WELCOME TO THE SHOW!!  We hope you will find time to wander the Show Field,  and also visit the Marquees.

IF YOU WANT TO COMPETE -      Horticultural & Dog Show competitors can enter ON THE DAY..

The Marquees are along the Western (seaward) side of the field.  They provide seated indoor eating and drinking areas,  an exhibition of local Crafts people and the Horticultural Section.  The Craft tent is open all day with demonstrations and stalls, but the Horticultural tent is closed until the judging is finished – then you can see who has won a prize for  a whole variety of cookery, and growing competitions along with children’s displays. This year we are having a Children's Fun Fur & Feather Exhibiton for youngsters to bring their caged pets for everyone to admire.

Out on the Field are Fun rides for the children,  local traders stalls and wonderful displays of old machinery. There are also fast food outlets. There will be Cattle and Sheep exhibitors competing. Horses, Dogs and Donkeys too.

Our local Riding Club organise the Show Jumping in the afternoon, and in the morning the Hunters are going over their brush fences. You can enter your dog in the Dog Show starting at 2pm. Throughout the day, you can see demonstrations of

  • Sheep-Dog & Ducks- The Runner Pack
  • Sheep- Shearing
  • Owls and Birds of Prey Fly at intervals during the day.
Look out for the timetable near the pedestrian entrance for demonstration times and announcements on the Tannoy.
