North Pembrokeshire Agricultural & Horticultural Show
Held in August every year, the Nevern Show is a staple in our community and provides a day full of activities, with something for everyone. In its current form, our show was first staged over 70 years ago.
One thing that has remained constant is that our show provides a platform for local businesses to connect with customers, inspire the next generation and engage with tourists. The show is organized by locals who aim to bring some entertainment for all those who choose to visit, no matter where they may be.
Continuing in traditions from shows of yesteryear, pop along for a day out that has something for all of the family by buying a ticket online or at the gate.
When you come to visit, sample delicious artisan food and drink that is available to purchase and take home with you.
Take part in some of the finest horse, cattle and sheep competitions, competing with local clubs such as Tivyside Riding Club.
With no other agricultural shows on our date, you can enjoy an uninterrupted and action-packed day out in North Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
The show wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors, the committee and the rest of the team. Get in touch to see how you can take part and give back to the community.
Our show wouldn’t be possible without the help of our community. Organizing the show each year is a large undertaking due to the vast amount of competitions, activities and trade stands.
So, why not get involved and make a start in helping to add your own ideas to our next event.
Our Volunteers are a key part of making Nevern show run smoothly year upon year.
We have given donations to The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI), 250 blocks of cheese to food banks and more. We also offer a free pitch for charities to raise funds at the show on a first come, first served basis.
Our Chairman and Stewards help to steer all of the organising and efforts of our team in the right direction, to make the show a complete success.
Nevern Show truly features some of the best livestock competitions, making sure that visitors get to see the very best in agricultural showings. Come and watch our local farmer’s sheepdog trialling demonstration and local Tivyside Hunt parade their hounds providing great entertainment, especially for children!
Once you’ve enjoyed the competitions, there’s lots to learn at the show. Why not stop by our crafts tent or our horseshoeing and sheep shearing demonstrations.
We are proud to be one of West Wales’ longest-running agricultural and horticultural shows, see some of our activities and events from previous years.
If you have any questions about what’s happening at our show or how you can get involved, just get in touch with our team who are always happy to help.
